He reportedly had the four-year affair with the wife of one of his international team-mates.
Torino midfielder Afriyie Acquah has played alongside the Villa new boy in the Ghana national team since 2012, but a leaked audio tape that is purported to be from Acquah's wife Amanda, has her admitting the transgression.
“I have been with Jordan for four good years, not four days. He sent me naked pics,” Gazzetta World reports her as saying on the tape.
“He has slept with me more than Acquah,” the tape continues as she reveals that the Ghana striker “intensely humped” her for four years.
“We were mocked even then as being like ‘husband and wife’. Even Dede Ayew [Jordan’s brother] would say ‘these people, don’t discuss their issues’.
“Afriyie is very jealous, I swear," it continues. "Whenever he sets his eyes on us having a chat or hanging out, he quickly becomes furious and won’t talk to me until I apologise.
“Now, Afriyie used to complain about his ailing relationship with Jordan.
“They once travelled to Amsterdam and only Dede spoke to him but Jordan wouldn’t.
He asked for contact with Jordan, but he refused.”
This controversy has seen former Black Stars great Augustine Arhinful call on Ghana coach Avram Grant to drop the pair.
“The Ghana FA must speak to the players," he said.
“If the national coach believes there is tension then both should miss the next match. Their problems cannot get in the way of the national team.”
The footballer;Ayew, joined the Villans from French side Lorient in July in an £8million deal, penning a five-year contract.
According to The Sun a Villa spokesman said Ayew was aware of the claims, but refused to comment, saying: “The club does not comment on players’ personal lives.”
